The following are a combination of two mills situated next to each other on a stretch of river. The first one, we had been given the location along with another not so far, which on this occasion we didn’t get a chance to look at. While outside the first mill we bumped in to the owner of the mills who told us about the history of the mills and area, and he suggested that we look at the mill further down the river. On the way out the man handed us a disk full of old pictures of the three mills he owned/use to own. Some of these images I’ll be using to add to this post ( these images belong to the Hughes archive).
