Mansion gate – Leeds – July 12

Built in the 1830s for John Hives, a wealthy mill owner and designed by John Clark Mansion Gate changed use from home to hospital in 1926 where it specialised in replacement limbs for injured servicemen. Later being incorporated into the Chapel Allerton Hospital. It has been derelict since 1994.

My few photographs from a mainly pitch black building.
